Mediterranean Water Garden

design of a private garden with a special emphasis on a water course and mediterranean vegetation.

The artist was commissioned to design a mediterranean-style garden for an existing private property in the small community of Alonei Abba, overlooking the Yizreel Valley in Northern Israel. The slope of the property was utilised for creating a water course, including an upper and lower pond as well as a wooden bridge. The upper pond serves as a wetland-filter for cleaning the water. Other features of the garden include the design of the entrance area of the property, a gravel garden, a deck and a rich and variegated mediterranean planting scheme.
